TORONTO, April 18 /CNW/ - Thousands of hopefuls from across Canada
applied for a chance to be cast for a recurring role in the second season of Bravo!'s runaway hit series Godiva's. The wealth of talent that surfaced made choosing one winner from the Cheque Please promotion impossible - so two were selected! Bravo! and the producers of Godiva's are pleased to introduce the two winners: Ginger Busch from Toronto, Ontario and Juan Riedinger from Banff,
Alberta.

Employed by the Summit Grill House in Toronto, Ginger Busch is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada whose acting experience includes Shakespearean theatre, an appearance in a music video and a guest spot on the series Queer As Folk. Fluent in English, German and Spanish, Juan Riedinger works as a server at Vancouver's Takis' Tavern where he is also picking up Greek. Formally trained, Juan has worked in theatre, film and television, and will be graduating from UBC this spring with a minor in theatre.

As a part of a unique promotional campaign called Cheque Please, the
series's producers held a nationwide search to recruit a new cast member for the second season of Godiva's. But not just any actor could audition.

Applications were only accepted from employees in the restaurant or
foodservice industry. From the thousand-plus submissions received, 100 candidates were short-listed by Jenny Lewis Casting (Toronto) and Clarke and Page Casting (Vancouver), and invited to audition at the CHUMCity Building in Toronto and Citytv-Vancouver in Vancouver, where they read before executive producers Julia Keatley (Cold Squad) and Michael MacLennan (Queer as Folk).

Bravo!'s hip new series Godiva's, set in the heart of Vancouver's
Yaletown, invites viewers into the high-pressure, fast-paced world of the restaurant biz and the equally entwined private lives of the young, urban tribesters who populate it. Watch for the Godiva's season finale on April 20 at 10pm ET.
